Power Forward Foundation
Youth athletes can access organized basketball programs through the Power Forward Foundation, a non-profit helping pre-teens and teens improve their mental, emotional and physical health!
It has never been more crucial to provide support to our youths and their mental health. The National Institute of Mental Health estimates a prevalence of anxiety between the ages of 13-18 to be 25%. Sports play a vital role in communities helping kids socialize, learn valuable life lessons and stay physically healthy.
The Power Forward Foundation will initially offer scholarships to organized sports programs for youth athletes facing financial hardship. A longer term goal is to develop training for players, parents and coaches to help youths gain valuable life skills like resilience and grit, along with making organized sports a more positive experience.
Power Forward Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
